Supply bottleneck for elec­tronic components

For some months now, our industry has been strug­gling with supply bottle­necks. Our suppliers are also affected, which in turn has an impact on our customers.

Shortage of raw mate­rials — patience is needed
Pandemic-related restric­tions, various natural disasters and transport diffi­culties trig­gered by the Ever Given accident in the Suez Canal — all expla­na­tions for why there are supply bottlenecks.

What does that mean for you?
This unpre­dictable situ­ation leads to long delivery times for certain products. We therefore recommend that you allow for long-term planning, espe­cially for Steinel products, with a delivery time of 4 to 6 months for high quantities.

Delivery dead­lines at risk
The current situ­ation is also putting a strain on day-to-day business, so that the usual delivery times from Steinel’s external ware­house cannot be guar­anteed for the time being. If we are unable to meet the usual five-day delivery deadline, we will contact you within 48h of order confir­mation with a new delivery date.
